Statistical determination of phrases by examining the co-occurrences of consecutive words within the text. Stated more simply, if two words occur next to each other repeatedly in several sentences across several documents, it can be statistically assumed that these words constitute a phrase.

Link Analysis

Displays correlations and clusters of terms extracted from a set of documents or text values with the ability to drill down to review the specific relationships.

Complex Searching

Searches for phrases, proximity, by sentence or paragraph, synonyms and alternate term forms and enables the ability to see a ranked list of matching records, search within the results of previous searches, refine search query by providing positive and negative document-based relevance feedback, and the highlighting of occurrences of words in documents for easy navigation.

Today’s 24/7/365 global economy often does not allow for server downtime to undertake typical forensic collections, nor do many court mandated deadlines allow enough time to collect data at geographically dispersed locations.

Our data collection teams are able to remotely capture live data – including RAID disks, physical drives, logical volumes, and physical memory (32 & 64 bit Windows) – in a forensically sound manner via IP network connection. Everyone seems to have a smart phone. These devices store a wide variety of information, some not even apparent to the owner. Our data collection teams are equipped to retrieve data from cell phones and other mobile devices in a forensically sound manner that preserves the evidence, ensuring that it is admissible in court proceedings.

The extent to which we can recover data is heavily based on the cell phone or device model. When Is A Local Resource Not A Good Option For E-Discovery Services?

It is not uncommon to read posts, tweets and emails within the litigation support industry with a firm, corporation or vendor urgently seeking “local” resources at a distant location, whether it be here in the United States or at points around the globe. While sometimes it is simply a matter of practicality, more often than not it is a desperate attempt to satisfy a client who refuses to acknowledge the terms “travel” or “remote” as part of a polite conversation. VeHOLD™ Automated Litigation Hold Solution

VeHOLD™ is an automated litigation hold solution that enables clients to fully engage a litigation hold from the designated administrator’s desktop. The administrator simply inputs the requisite criteria (date range, custodian, file type, terms), and VeHOLD will identify, collect and preserve relevant Electronically Stored Information (“ESI”) from designated data and/or e-mail servers without the need for custodial or IT assistance.
